What is the purpose of the video?
A video can be produced for training, promotions, sales, marketing, fundraisng, retirement, corporate review.

Who is your target audience?
Who will view this video? employees, associates, investors, customers, vendors,

What is the message?
This is very important.  The content of the message must get across to the viewer in order for the video to be successful.

What is the length of the video?
The duration of the video could mean the gain or loss of a potential customer.

Will you need a presenter or voice-over recording?
Some people are camera shy and can't be in front of a camera.  Depending on the purpose of your video, a voice describing the content of your presentation may be sufficient.

Will you need actors?
Sometimes, members of your team may be camera shy when presenting spcific information.  Actors can fill in the void when needed.

Do you have special music preference?
What mood are you trying to create?  Is it serious, relaxing, business-like, adventurous, comic, news-room atmosphere?

Will you need more than one location?
Sometimes a manufacturing plant is located at a different place than the corporate office.  Testimonials by customers at their locations could be very effictive.
